QUALIFICATION MATRIX SKILLED LABOR REQUIREMENTS EVALUATIONS
QUALIFICATION MATRIX
The knowledge of employee competencies in a company organization plays an important role in achieving the company's goals. Leadership competence, further training, certifications, skills, knowledge, etc. The degree of complexity in organizational development increases with the number of employees (human resources) in the company. Capacity planning, different working time models and a multitude of business processes need to be combined into one big picture using suitable personnel management software. Q-Matrix qualification matrix software replaces time-consuming employee appraisals by your HR department.
Without proper qualification matrix software, this is a hopeless endeavor because random employee training is ineffective and cost-intensive.
With the Q-Matrix qualification matrix (competence matrix) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949, your personnel controlling department always has an overview of the existing, required, missing or desired future competencies of each employee.
Q-Matrix quality management software supports the personnel development of companies in two areas:
1) Facilitated personnel deployment planning
2) Future-oriented knowledge management in personnel planning (competence management)
The time and personnel costs are significantly reduced, and the use of the right HR management software eliminates the need for costly management consultancy.

Q-MATRIX QUALIFICATION MATRIX AND RETENTION MANAGEMENT
"Retention management" is the generic term for all measures aimed at increasing employee loyalty to the company.
At best, low employee motivation simply means poorer work performance. In the worst case, the employee changes companies and this is accompanied by a loss of knowledge, also known in HR controlling as "brain drain".
Employee requirement profiles are becoming increasingly complex and the market can no longer meet the demand for skilled workers - qualified employees (know-how carriers) are in short supply.
The more qualified an employee, the more important he or she is to the company.
Employee retention management is therefore a key requirement for every company. HR managers are faced with the task of not only increasing and retaining knowledge management within the company, but also retaining competent and qualified employees in the competition for human resources.
For your personnel management, this "war of talents" is an important point for sustainable corporate success.
INFLUENCING COMMITMENTS WITH THE HELP OF THE Q-MATRIX QUALIFICATION MATRIX SOFTWARE
In business administration, "commitment" refers to the attitude of a person (here: employee) towards a reference object (here: company), which is influenced by their inner attitude (motivation, satisfaction...) towards this object.
Q-Matrix Qualification Matrix provides your personnel controlling with advantages for forward-looking retention management in both areas:
Motivation factors
Recognition of factors relevant to employee loyalty to the company, such as social and material security, personality development, status, etc.
De-motivation factors
Also known colloquially as "inner resignation".
Recurring reasons for demotivation are:
- Dysfunctional relationships with colleagues and superiors (bullying in extreme cases)
- Underchallenge at the workplace (competence management)
- Lack of recognition of own performance, lack of career development prospects
- Unclear future direction of the company (current example: VW. Continued combustion engine or only electric drive?)

QUALIFICATION MATRIX
The qualification matrix is an important building block for determining the training and qualification requirements within your company.
One of the most important analysis tools, the qualification matrix, can be used by any registered Q-Matrix user. Depending on the shifts, departments or areas assigned in the user administration, the corresponding employee data and workplace information are displayed.
In the qualification matrix, the current qualification level can be easily identified at the intersection between employee and workstation.
SIMPLY FILTER AND GROUP BY IN THE QUALIFICATION MATRIX:
- Division
- Department
- Qualification level / stage
- Sift / team
- Job
QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW
How do you recognize to what extent the qualification level of your company's employees has changed?
The answer lies in our comprehensive qualification overview. It has extensive filter and grouping options. Get a quick and up-to-date overview of your company divisions and departments at any time, from your employees to individual job-specific activities.
Analyze the progress of measures in the company over time and monitor the effects in the qualification overview.
Good to know: The qualification overview filtered individually according to your requirements can be printed out at any time via the page view.
EMPLOYEES - ACTIVITIES
In the "Employees - activities" evaluation table, you can read the current qualification level of each employee.
The comprehensive "Employees - activities" evaluation presents the individual activities or individual tasks of your employees in tabular form. The number highlighted in color is the current qualification level or the qualification level of the employee in the respective activity.
DETERMINE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL
Use this method to quickly and clearly identify those employees with qualification requirements and development potential. Use the results for the optimal and target-oriented planning of further training measures and discussions.
TARGET-ACTUAL COMPARISON
The target/actual comparison in Q-Matrix shows the current training requirements for each activitiy in the company.
For each activity, a red or green bar symbolizes the extent to which individual employee qualification classifications deviate from the target requirements (0-point) defined in your company for the activity. While the red bar indicates a negative deviation, i.e. a need for qualification in the broadest sense, the green bar indicates (over)fulfillment of the target requirements.
RECOGNIZE QUALIFICATION NEEDS AT A GLANCE
All employees for an activity are displayed. If an employee is highlighted in red, their current classification deviates from the target requirements. The exact value can be seen in the "Deviation" field. There is a need for qualification here!
TARGET-ACTUAL ASSESSMENTS
The target/actual assessments represent the target requirements of the workplaces for each employee assigned there.
You can immediately recognize (red) which employee has a possible training requirement. The figures for TARGET and ACTUAL are calculated from the sum of all activities at this job.
EASILY LOCALIZE DEVIATIONS FROM TARGET REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, the actual figure should be higher than the target figure and the status should be displayed as "green". If it happens that at least one activity at the workstation does not meet the target requirements, you will of course also recognize this in the target/actual assessments of Q-Matrix. In this case, the status is shown as "red" despite a higher actual figure. This means that the actual assessment falls short of the target figure. In the detailed tabular display, you can see which activity is affected in the Deviation column.
CERTIFICATES & TARGET HOURS
Evaluate your employees' submitted certificates and target hours with Q-Matrix.
With the help of predefined views and helpful functions, you can quickly gain an overview of existing and yet-to-be-submitted certificates, or of completed and yet-to-be-completed target qualification times.
ANNUAL OVERVIEW OF TARGET HOURS
Let Q-Matrix show you the annual overview of all target hours to be completed for each employee. Here you will find all information on the planned and achieved training status of your employees at a glance. Work conveniently with the target/actual comparison or the percentage display in the Q-Matrix annual overview.
