Tutorial Assignment

Q-Matrix™ provides the capability to manage assignments for every individual in the organization. Assignments such as security officer, environmental officer or data privacy officer are required by law in several countries.

The first step is to create the base data types for assignments within the organization. An assignment is like a position with an individual’s name. To do so simply create a new entry in the master data section.

Use the assignment column shown in the position overview to select the type the newly created position should be. In this example, the position "security officer" is created and the related assignment is assigned accordingly.

Then view the assignments section in the individual's details. Additional information about the period of time or specific department can be identified there.
